Mathew is a Los Angeles-based commercial and documentary photographer
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Mathew grew up in a creative household where he was introduced to the world of visual arts from a young age. During his early twenties, while living in San Francisco, his interest in photography grew, leading him to enroll in the Academy of Art's photography program, where he earned his BFA in 2007.

With over a decade of experience in the industry, Mathew continues to evolve as a photographer, always seeking to capture subjects and their stories genuinely and authentically. He is known for his personal projects, such as documenting life along the LA River, and his commercial work, specializing in lifestyle, portraiture, and capturing real people in their environments. Mathew brings a high level of passion and dedication to every project, approaching each shoot with an open mind and an eagerness to create authentic, impactful images.
