Future of the Car / Monocle
I had the opportunity to collaborate with Monocle on a feature about the future of gas stations in the context of the world's gradual shift away from fossil fuels and the growing popularity of electric vehicles. It was a thought-provoking question to explore: what will become of these spaces once they're no longer needed for fuel? To illustrate this topic, I was sent out to photograph a selection of gas stations, resulting in a double-page grid for the magazine. The weather added another layer of fun, as California experienced an unusual winter, but I managed to time things out between the storms and even captured some portraits along the way.
