Fine Art Conservation Laboratories

Scott Haskins is an art conservationist, a profession that consists of being equal parts artist, historian and scientist, photographed at his Santa Barbara studio (laboratory?) for a story on a rare painting of George Washington by French American artist Léon Trousset that was discovered in an attic in Northern California. If there’s a priceless piece of art that needs to be authenticated or restored, Scott is most likely the person to get that call.
